Themed Free Post 2 - Anime

Hello, Now I'm going to talk about another thing that I love to do... and it's watch anime. Anime, as you surely now, is animation made in Japan, and most of the people of my generation grew up watching anime in Chilevision, in a TV show called "Club de los Tigritos" and "Invasión", animes like Doraemon, Digimon Adventure, Sailor Moon, etc. Then, when I was like 12 years old, I started watching anime online, and it turned an obssesion to me, I spent almost all day watching shonen anime for like 2 years (one piece, bleach, katekyo hitman reborn, etc.). Eventually I didn't found more anime to watch, so I started to control a bit my obssesion, but until now I'm usually searching new animes to watch and mangas to read, but now I like seinen animes more. Seinen is a demography used in anime, that, unlike shonen, is characterized for having more mature plot and sometimes a lot of blood and +18 content. Some examples are Oyasumi Punpun, 20th Century Boys...

Themed Free Post - Tennis

Hello, Now I'm going to talk about one of my favourites things to do... play tennis. I started playing tennis when I was 9 years old. At that age, I was always very bored in my house, and my mom heard that a friend was playing tennis and she thought that it could be interesting to me. So I started playing and I really liked it, I started to improve and eventually I ended playing tournaments regularly. Then I got injured my knee, so I stop playing for many years. Nowadays I started playing again, but casually, and also I enjoy a lot watching a lot of tournaments. I specially follow to Roger Federer, who continues playing at 38 years old and keeps a high level, being ranked 3rd in the ATP circuit. He is known for having a elegant game, it seems like he never do a lot work on getting points. Tennis is a great sport, but unfortunately it requires a lot of money because the implements and lease a court is really expensive. I'd like that it could be easier to people to play thi...

Postgraduate Studies

Hello, I wouldn't really like to do a postgraduate course, but I'd be very useful to do a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology because probably I will work in that specific area, and it could be a complement to my professional career, to be a better psychologist. If I have to pick a university, it'd probably be Universidad de Chile, because I like its environment, its teachers, and its approach on psychology as a social science is really important to me. Other interesting place to study could be some university in Spain, I haven't do the research about which one could be, but I'd like to study outside the country, and Europe seems a really nice place. The reason why I choose Spain over other european countries is simple... I don't know other languages and I'm not much interested in learning one. Now, about the way I'd like to study, I think distance learning is a very convenient way, but it sets aside some of the most important parts of the learni...

The Best Holidays Ever

Imagen
Hello, This time I'll tell you about the best holidays I've ever had. My best holidays were on february 2012. My father, mother, grandma, brother, his girlfriend and I traveled by car from La Serena to Chiloé stopping in different cities, like Curicó, Chillán, Puerto Varas, etc. In those cities what we did was to know the cities, their classic touristic places, and obviously, their restaurants. In a town called Coñaripe, we stayed in hot springs, it was a very pleasurable and relaxing experience. Another special place for me was Chillán, where I met with some friend that I didn't met in person before, I met them online, playing videogames. Another activities that we did was trekking and canopy, very exciting activities to do, I enjoyed them a lot. The reasons that make those holidays so special are mainly 2. The first one is that I met my friends from videogames, who nowadays are my still friends, I even lived 2 years with one of them...

A Country I would like to visit

Imagen
Hello, I'm not very interested in travelling, but if I'd have to pick a country to visit, I would say Japan. The reason is that I like to watch anime a lot and it really amazes me some aspects of its culture. Also, it would allow me to get some stuff related to anime, like original manga volumes and magazines. I don't know a lot about Japan's geography or specific places to visit, the only place I can remember right now is Mount Fuji and I would be glad to go there. I would also enjoy the buildings, especially old temples, cause' I've always been attracted to the classic Japan infrastructure. Another aspect that attracts me about this country is its relation to videogames. When I was a child I played nintendo and super nintendo a lot, and it'll be great to know the place where it started (and of course, play it). I wouldn't live there, especially because I think its culture is too conservative and I wouldn't adapt to it. Also, I...
